My stay at Aura Hotel Times Square was quite a mix. The location was fantastic, just steps away from vibrant Times Square. The room was clean and the bed comfortable, which made for restful nights. However, I had some issues with the service, especially during check-out, which left a sour taste at the end of my visit.

Rooms
6.0
The room I stayed in was quite compact, but very clean and well-maintained. I appreciated the comfortable bed, although I found the lack of basic amenities like a chair or a place to eat a bit frustrating.
Service
5.0
While the staff were friendly during check-in, my experience at check-out was disappointing. I had to wait too long for my bags and felt the staff could have handled the situation more efficiently and attentively.
Location
8.0
The hotel's location is superb, making it easy to explore NYC. It's just off Times Square, which was perfect for walking to various attractions and dining options.

The hotel had basic facilities, like a gym, and I appreciated the availability of hot water and ice on the second floor. However, the lack of room service and other amenities like a fridge or a kettle was noticeable.

6.8/10

My stay at the Aura Hotel Times Square had its ups and downs. On one hand, the location is unbeatable, just a stone's throw from Times Square, which made seeing the sights super easy. The cleanliness standards were high, and I appreciated the friendly staff. On the flip side, I felt some aspects of the hotel didn't live up to the 4-star rating—particularly the amenities and surprise fees. Overall, I enjoyed my stay but wouldn't call it luxurious.

Rooms
7.0
I stayed in an executive king room that was spacious and super clean. The biggest bonus was the comfy bed! However, the bathroom was a bit cramped, making it tricky to move around. The shower pressure was decent but could have been better.
Service
7.0
The staff were generally friendly and helpful, especially during check-in. However, there were moments when I felt the communication could've been clearer, especially regarding additional fees and amenities. Despite the occasional hiccup, they handled everything with professionalism.
Location
9.0
This hotel's location is fantastic! Just steps away from all the buzz of Times Square and close to subway stations for getting around the city. You can't beat the convenience for tourists looking to explore NYC.
Dining
6.0
I enjoyed the bistro next door for breakfast. It was a nice touch, but I wish there were more dining options directly in the hotel. The offerings felt pretty basic for the price you pay.
Facilities
5.0
While the hotel was clean and tidy, I was surprised by the lack of basic amenities in the room. Missing items like chairs and a mini-fridge made storage and comfort a bit difficult. The added fee for facilities felt unfair without great perks.

I had a pleasant stay at Aura Hotel Times Square, thanks to its prime location just steps from Times Square and the friendly staff. While the amenities were decent, I encountered a few challenges, including a billing issue. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience, but there were some hiccups that could be improved.

Rooms
8.0
The room I stayed in, an Executive Queen Room, was clean and the bed was comfortable. However, there was no kettle for tea, and I had to make do with a Nespresso machine without always having milk available. On one occasion, I also faced missing cups, but it didn’t ruin my stay.
Service
6.0
The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. Despite the initial check-in hiccup and some issues I faced, they tried their best to rectify things, which was appreciated. However, I did experience some rudeness from one front desk employee that soured the experience a bit.
Location

The hotel’s location was perfect for exploring the city. Just a stone's throw from Times Square, it allowed for easy walking to major attractions like Rockefeller Center and Central Park. I loved how convenient it was to hop on the subway too.
Dining
8.0
Although I didn't have breakfast at the hotel, I enjoyed dining at the Saju Bistro next door. The ambiance at the Long Room bar was also inviting, making for a nice experience after a day of sightseeing.
Facilities
7.0
The hotel had a solid range of facilities, including good housekeeping. However, I faced a couple of service issues during my stay, like a lack of cleaning service one day, which was disappointing. Still, the overall maintenance and services provided were generally good.

My stay at the Aura Hotel Times Square was a mix of highs and lows. The location was absolutely unbeatable, just steps away from the action of Times Square, which made it easy for me to explore the city. However, I found the room to be quite small, which is typical for Manhattan, and it did come with some noticeable street noise at night. Overall, I enjoyed my trip, but the room size and noise were a downside. 🌆😅

Rooms
6.0
The room was small but clean. It overlooked other buildings, limiting the noise from the street, which was a relief. However, the bathroom door lock was stiff. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in!
Service
8.0
The staff were friendly and provided good service during my stay. I appreciated the maid's kindness and the overall clean environment. However, communication regarding specific issues like housekeeping timing wasn't always clear.
Location
10.0
The hotel's location is prime for anyone wanting to experience Times Square and nearby attractions. I found it very convenient to walk to various places and easily access subway stations.
Dining
8.0
Breakfast at the bistro next door was a great deal and a tasty start to my day. I also received excellent dining recommendations from the staff which enhanced my experience.
Facilities
6.0
The facilities were decent, but the elevators were particularly small and could only fit a few people at a time. Despite some wear and tear in public areas, everything was clean and well-maintained.

6.2/10

I enjoyed my stay, primarily because of the hotel's ideal location just steps from Times Square and various attractions. The staff were certainly friendly and attentive, making me feel welcome throughout my visit. However, there were some downsides, like occasional construction that made navigating the area a bit tricky and a lack of certain amenities in the room.

Rooms
7.0
My room was clean and maintained a good standard, though it felt somewhat small and lacked natural light. I appreciated the cleanliness but noticed some minor comfort issues, like noisy air conditioning.
Service
8.0
The staff were accommodating and helped me with a few requests. They handled any issues gracefully, which enhanced my overall experience despite the minor inconveniences I faced in my room.
Location
